It is never an easy decision when your options are limitless. You can choose to service your vehicle in many different locations, so why service your vehicle at the dealership? There are endless amounts of small garages that can service your vehicle but how many of them will care for your vehicle? There is a difference between the work done elsewhere and the work done here. I am going to make a point about the importance of caring for your vehicle at the dealer through explaining the importance of factory trained technicians, using genuine Nissan/Infiniti parts, and dealing with a knowledgeable parts and service staff.
Lets start off with our technicians. All of our technicians are factory trained. Many companies advertise factory trained technicians but what does that really mean? All of our technicians are obligated to complete monthly tests outlined by Nissan and Infiniti that must be completed. These tests always contain the most up to date changes in our vehicles. It is mandatory, not only for the techs to do the tests, but complete it with a high mark. These tests are usually an hour in length and require a high degree of understanding on the topic at hand. Above and beyond these tests our technicians will also attend trainings located at our head office throughout the year. These courses will range from new product courses to electrical diagnosis to understanding the intricacies that our vehicles have. These courses usually range from 1-2 days at a time.
Once these objectives are met our technicians are graded on a scale set by Nissan/Infiniti and the goal of all our techs is to become Master Technicians. This achievement is not easy to obtain but Alta can be proud to say that the majority of our technicians hold this title. Lets put the last statement into perspective. How many quick lube small garages can make that claim? That’s what we stand behind when we say we use factory trained technicians. Our factory trained technicians using genuine Nissan/Infiniti parts is the best option you have when caring for your vehicle.
The use of genuine oem parts should not be taken for granted. These are parts which are made by the people who made the vehicle. Does it not make sense to use the parts which were manufactured for the car, in a facility mandated by the people who made the car, versus a poor quality replica? I can’t begin to tell how many inferior products have been installed by non factory techicians, that directly impact the dynamics of how the vehicles drive. Oil filters that poorly filter oil, air filters that poorly filter air and wipers that clear only on the first application and streak the rest of their life. It is imperative that the parts you purchase for your vehicle come from knowledgeable trained staff which can only be found at your dealer.
Doesn’t it make sense buying products and accepting advice from someone that is knowledgeable about a product? I can not stress the importance of receiving good advice from someone that has experience. Think of times in life when you asked a professional for matters that needed quality attention. That’s what you will receive here at Alta. Both our parts and service departments are equipped with staff members that know how to care for not only the vehicle but the guest. It is our goal to treat you and
your vehicle as if you are the only guest visiting us. Both departments are responsible for completing monthly tests. Like the technicians, these tests update us on new developments and allow us to provide you a high level of product knowledge. The completion of these tests are also mandatory and receiving a high score is no less important. We see these vehicles every day and the repetition is what makes us superior to all service centres. We don’t claim to know all vehicles, but, we know your vehicle.
It may seem a bit overwhelming where to care for your vehicle with so many options out there but if you are looking for qualified technicians, using genuine parts, with guidance from a strong parts and service personnel then you look no further than your dealer. Your Alta dealer
